Load

Snap a standard double-edge blade in half along its slot, wrapper on. Seat one half in the blade holder, edge outward.

Lock

Close the brass plate over the blade. Look down its length — the edge sits parallel and even. If it doesn’t, open it and seat it again.

Cut

Around thirty degrees to the skin, no pressure, short strokes. A fresh edge every time you want one, with nothing to hone or strop.

The edge is fully exposed and it is sharp. Dry hands to load it, skin pulled taut to shave with it, and a blade bank for the spent blades. The field guide covers all of it properly. Over-18s only.

Which blades does it take?

Half of a standard double-edge (DE) safety razor blade — snapped in two, one edge exposed. Blades not included.

Are blades included?

No. Standard double-edge blades are sold everywhere and cost pennies each — order a pack alongside it.

Can left-handed barbers use it?

Yes. The handle is symmetrical, so it works either way round.
